Introducing...
MasterCard^TM SecureCode^TM - a new service from MasterCard and Riverfront Federal Credit Union that provides added protection when you buy online. There is no need to get a new MasterMoney^TM Debit Card. You choose your own personal MasterCard SecureCode^TM and it is never shared with any merchant. A private code means added protection against unauthorized use of your debit card when you shop online.

MasterCard^TM SecureCode^TM is designed to give Riverfront Federal Credit Union’s members more protection and greater control when using their cards online. Whenever your card is used at a participating online merchant, you will be asked for your personal password to verify that you authorize the purchase. This password helps protect your cards against unauthorized use.

To sign up, just start shopping. When you are ready to check out at a participating merchant, you will be given the opportunity to register. A window displaying the MasterCard^TM SecureCode^TM logo and the Riverfront Federal Credit Union logo will open. Just enter your account details at this secure site and create your password to complete the transaction. It’s that easy! If you do not have the pertinent data available, Riverfront will allow you to continue but will indicate that you will need the information the next time you make a purchase at a participating online merchant. Cardholders can also register before shopping by clicking on the MasterCard^TM SecureCode^TM Register Now! icon.

Once you activate your card, shop like normal. Your MasterCard card number is automatically recognized at checkout. When you shop at a participating online store, the MasterCard^TM SecureCode^TM window will appear. Simply enter your password, click submit, and you’re done. Riverfront Federal Credit Union will confirm that it’s you and allows your purchase to be completed.
