We began our snack food business in a small family kitchen in rural Easton, Pennsylvania in 1946 with a small line consisting of fava beans, pistachio nuts and pumpkin seeds. During those early years, Keystone first packaged our unique products under the private labels of the leading specialty food houses throughout the country in vacuum sealed glass jars. But good food never goes unrecognized, so we began our own label of assorted snacks. One by one, now-famous favorites like corn chips, cheese curls, pork rinds, onion rings, tortilla chips, butter and cheese popcorn and the “Original” Party Mix joined the line-up of fresh Keystone snacks. Today our family of products have made Keystone one of America’s snack- making leaders. Today the 200,000 square- foot- plant bakes our delicious snacks daily. Keystone Foods is certified ISO 9001:2000 and is also certified organic. The entire plant operates under Kosher inspection. Ingredients are carefully measured, mixed, and baked according to precise specifications. Efficient packaging methods and stringent quality control processes guarantee freshness. Perhaps that is why Keystone has earned its outstanding reputation in the snack food business. Consumers appreciate the consistent, fresh quality - whether the product is marketed under the Keystone brand or as a private label.
