Q. What should I do if my debit card is lost or stolen?

A. During normal business hours you can call Riverfront at 610-374-8351 or 800-451-3477 to report the card lost or stolen. If it is lost or stolen after normal business hours, you can utilize either Online Direct (internet service) or Dial Direct (phone service) to disable it.

Via Online Direct – choose Maintenance, then Plastic Cards. Click on the appropriate card number to disable.

Via Dial Direct – enter your account number and pin number, then enter 6# then 4# and follow the prompts.

Q. When I use my MasterMoneyTM Debit Card, there are stores that insist I use a PIN
number. Do I have to?

A. Tell the clerk you would prefer to sign the receipt instead. Usually, you’ll need to push “credit” on the keypad. There may be a few instances where your card won’t work unless you enter your PIN.

Q. Can I use my MasterMoneyTM Debit Card without using a PIN?

A. When you are in a store with a keypad, ask the clerk how to use it so you can sign for your
purchase, rather than entering your PIN. If there is no keypad, you can almost always hand over your card and it will work fine.

Q. How can I avoid surcharges at ATM’s?

A. There are two options available to you. The first option is to utilize the Network of Non Surcharging ATM locations. Visit our website at www.riverfrontfcu.org and click on the link for Non Surcharging ATM locations( http://www.cudollar.org/ ). Follow the instructions for checking counties or cities in PA or locations outside of PA. The second option is to request “cash back” when using your debit card at various merchants (usually grocery or convenience stores will allow cash back without a surcharge).
