Membership is open to everyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Berks County, as well as any business or legal entity located in Berks County. Immediate family members of current or eligible Riverfront members may also join. To become a member you are required to open a savings account.
There is a one-time membership fee of $3.00 due at the time the account is open. Membership may be established with an initial savings deposit of $5.00; however, if applying for other credit union services (excluding loans) a $50.00 minimum balance in savings is required. Members have one year from the date of opening their account to bring their savings balance up to $50.00, unless applying for other services.
Once you become a member of Riverfront Federal Credit Union, you become a member for life, even if you change jobs, relocate, or retire. Plus, after you become a member your family members (spouse, children, brothers or sisters, parents, grandparents, grandchildren and adoptive or "step" relations) are automatically eligible for membership.
