Membership Eligibility |

Membership in Riverfront FCU is open to employees and family members of our sponsor companies and to anyone who lives, works, worships or is educated in the City of Reading. To join, call us at (610) 374-8351 or send us a completed membership application. If your company does not currently have a credit union and would like information on becoming a sponsoring company with our credit union click here to find out the benefits of being a Sponsor Company for your employees, along with easy step by step instructions.
Membership is easy. Simply complete a membership application and
return it with your initial deposit of $5.00 and our one time membership fee
of $3.00 to the credit union.
Our primary savings account requires a $50 minimum balance. This
is what is considered your shares in the credit union. A member has one year
from the date of opening the account to bring the balance up to $50. Members
must have the required $50 in their primary savings account in order to access
any other product or service.
Once you become a member of Riverfront Federal Credit Union, you
become a member for life, even if you change jobs, relocate, or retire. Plus,
after you become a member your family members (spouse, children, brothers or
sisters, parents, grandparents, grandchildren and adoptive or "step" relations)
are automatically eligible for membership.
Sponsor Companies
Employees, relatives and relatives through marriage in our Field
of Membership are eligible to join Riverfront FCU. If your company is not

The list of companies that comprise our Field of
Membership include various
Companies, Churches, and Associations. Riverfront FCU currently serves more
than 200 sponsor companies with more than 21,000 members nation wide.
City of Reading
Riverfront has been given the opportunity by our federal regulators the National
Credit Union Administration, to add the City of Reading into our Field
of Membership.
Anyone who lives, works, worships or is educated in the City of Reading is
eligible for membership at Riverfront FCU.
