Riverfront Working in the Heart of its Community
2003 |
 |
A message from Riverfront’s President/CEO, Vincent Paolini
A commitment to community service is really an extension of the “Caring Enough to Want to Make a Difference” philosophy, which is one of the cornerstones of the credit union movement. The associates who work at the credit union and our members have embraced this philosophy while supporting the March of Dimes, Junior Achievement, American Cancer Society, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. As a financial cooperative, we have always “Cared Enough to Want to Make a Difference” and I am very proud to be a part of an organization that truly cares!

Riverfront’s Marketing Assistant, Marcy, has been a J.A. classroom consultant for three years now. She has taught the “Personal Economics” program to 9th graders at Reading High School and the “Our City” program to several third grade classes at 16th & Haak Elementary School in the Reading School District. “Although I volunteer as a representative of Riverfront, teaching Junior Achievement is very rewarding on a personal level. I’d like to think that I am contributing to the children’s future in some small, positive way” said Marcy. Marcy began serving on Junior Achievement’s Marketing Board in May of 2003 and currently does the design and layout of the Junior Achievement Newsletters. To become involved with J.A. Berks County, contact Heather Reigel at 610-373-3500.
